After the frottage was complete, it was brought inside and placed upright on a wall for further rendering (lightly removing charcoal). The drawing should lay on its side as this is how it was created
Rain drawings - powdered charcoal on Canson 18x24 sheets - These were created using wind and rain. Each sheet was placed on the ground in a rain storm. After the paper was soaked through, powdered charcoal was applied very gently. The wind acted as one of the composer's of the work, taking the charcoal and spreading it across the page, somewhat evenly, creating, at times, a nice gradient. The rain drops then added imprints of charcoal, and as the water collected, small channels were formed on the page, as the pieces were moved, the water created various details. These are the raw drawings, no other rendering was done to them.
